When you walked into the reception at the Shenk Building, you couldn't say anything but WOW for Jenna & Corbin's wedding.  Well....we are probably getting a little ahead of ourselves here.  Lets back up.

Before we made it to the reception, there was a beautiful and heartfelt ceremony at Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish here in Hays.  It was a full house, which is saying something because that is a big church!  This is definitely one of the largest weddings that we have had the honor of photographing, and that includes the 9 flower girls and ring bearers.  What a beautiful couple, wedding party, and day!

We braved the cold and wind and headed downtown to do some fun shots of the wedding party before packing back up and heading out to the Shenk.  We already told you that we were amazed when we walked in the door, but then we closed our mouths and realized that HEY....we get to photograph all this.  AWESOME.  So we started right in.  A great time was had by all, and I don't think anyone left hungry after Gella's rocked the buffet line, including bacon wrapped and smoked beef tenderloin (can you say MMMMM).  

Jenna and Corbin, thank you so much for choosin us to be your photographers.  We had a great time, and the wedding was just gorgeous.  Congratulations, and we wish you the best from the bottom of our hearts!

The bride and groom assembled a unity cross, which was really cool.  Something we had never seen before!

It was cold, but Jenna and Corbin kept eachother warm.

The cake was a tall tiered beauty.  Rosie did a great job!  It was DELICIOUS.

The buffet (which maybe was Thomas' favorite part).  Gellas and CS Post put up a beautiful buffet line.  

Jenna's sister Kristen had found a picture of Jenna as a little girl playing Bride.  It was one of the best and most heartfelt speechs we have heard.

Alyssa is our last Senior we were able to take photographs of for 2012.  We were able to squeeze her in, and are so glad we were able to, because her style and photos are amazing!  It was still a little chilly out for this session, but she toughed it out.  We love the boots!

We are so excited its SPRING.  Don't get us wrong we love winter, but the change in seasons shifts our focus in locations to something new, and this is one of the first spring sessions with an abundance of GREEN out.  WOO HOO.  The Ft. Hays campus is beautiful right now!  Such a great time to bring out the family for photos before the weather gets too hot.  

Then we headed down to the park as big creek is running again and the stepping stones look great.  There were lots of peop ot enjoying the beautiful weather.  

Shana and Shane, you have a beautiful family and your kids have such a distinct personality and are so well behaved.  Thank you for letting us be your photographers for this Hays Session.  

We took advantage of the beautiful warm weather to take this little one's nine month session outdoors.  We have done several sessions with Mandi and her beautiful little girl now here in Hays, and she just keeps getting cuter every shoot!  We are lucky to be their photographers!  The grass down at Ft. Hays is really greening up!  Spring is here I think and its welcome.  Our calendars are starting to book up so if you want a photography session done of your litle one too, email us!
